Founded by Luigi Cacciatore in Palermo, Sicily, Inconscio explores the less predictable side of fragrance. Luigi begins each composition using Freud's method of free association, allowing ideas and memories to flow freely from the unconscious to shape the scent.
His perfumes are not always designed to be conventionally pleasant. The perfumer believes that scent is a vector of emotions that stimulates the Freudian "uncanny" – the confusing or alienating parts of ourselves that often remain neglected.
